Had a great breakfast experience here! The server was happy to make me a custom breakfast for my special diet. Great food quality. They open at 9am on a Sunday, which is great for travelers. I'm coming back!

Whenever my family is in town, we’re regulars at C51. We love their coffees, the friendly people, and their scones. Recently tried the apple cinnamon, treacle, and plain scones—each has been absolutely amazing. They are made fresh, so have the perfect texture and pair wonderfully with butter and jam.

Lovely place and nice relaxed atmosphere but £12 for 2 medium lattes and one scone with butter and jam I think is a tad steep.

It's definitely the best for Scottish breakfasts. Servers were very attentive, and nothing was too much trouble.

We were here today for breakfast and wow. We all had the full Scottish breakfast. I had the scrambled egg with both black and fruit pudding. The fruit pudding was absolutely delicious, best I have ever had. Even the toast was brilliant. I had hot chocolate which was amazing. I think we have found a new favourite place to eat. Staff can never do enough for you.

Cafe 51 is a great place to go with great ambience, clean place and friendly staff-always smiling. Lest I forget, it’s just a stone throw away from the sea side which is about 17-20mins walk

Local favourite. Great choice of food at any time of day and good quality. Decent portion sizes. Can be very busy, even on a Monday morning, which can sometimes make the place feel quite crowded and cramped, depending on where you are seated, though better than no atmosphere. At peak times you can be looking at a short wait for a table. Staff are friendly and attentive. Bills are paid at the counter which can be crowded at times as they also do fantastic takeaway selections. Also has free WiFi and in the drier months, there's the option to sit at tables out front. From a personal perspective the only downside is lack of parking though many just seem to park outside along the main road.
